Well, we finally have some big news to report. Jamie’s running a marathon! That’s right, she’s going to run in the 24th Annual Steamboat Marathon. I’m really proud of her. Not just for running the marathon, but for who she’s running it with. She decided to join Team in Training. This great group takes volunteers and trains them to either run a marathon or compete in a triathalon. The best part is that all of the proceeds go the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Well here we are. A brand new year! I wonder what will change, and what will remain the same. Our year went pretty well. We did some fun things, and at least we ended it in good health! As my previous update said, Jamie went to Disney in October with her sister Jodie and brother-in-law Nico. She had lots of fun and I finally put up her pictures. In November we flew back to New York for Thanksgiving.

Yet another update… well what do you know. As usual, there’s not much to report. We’ve been busy with work and school. I had a small break recently, which was nice. Now I’m back in though. Luckily I’ll have half of November and all of December off. Then it’s back in for two more classes and I’ll be done! Yeah! Jamie’s also keeping busy. She really enjoys many of her jobs!

The mono didn’t take hold nearly as much as I’d feared. I actually got better soon after the last update. Probably three weeks in all. I never got the fatigue either, which was very pleasant. Well, with mid-August brings me back to school. I took the last 1⁄2 quarter off. I’m sure going back’s going to be rough. I’m also taking a half quarter off in the fall. The setup pushes two classes into my third calendar year.

Well, here's an update for you. I (Tim) have mono! Wow... just my luck. I've never had it before so it's kind of a mystery as to how I got it now. I swear I wasn't making out with high school chicks! The symptoms really suck. It's basically really bad strep throat. At one point I had a fever of 103.6. The fever is over, now it's just my throat. I'm supposed to take a week off of work and get lots of rest.

Things are status quo here, nothing new to report. What else is new?!? We're getting ready for the summer. It finally stopped snowing in Colorado. We were suprised to get snow all the way into late April. Now that's gone, and the flowers are beginning to bloom (not a welcome sight for all of us alergy sufferers out there ;)). Jamie's still working all those jobs, and I'm still in school.

We told you we were planning on going someplace beachy. Well, we spent this past week in the Dominican Republic! It’s on a little island in the Carribean that’s been getting some bad press lately. The island is called “Hispanola”. That may or may not sound familiar. I think the island is more famous for a roudy country that inhabits the western third of the island. This, of course, is Haiti.

Not much going on at the moment. I’ve added a few more albums to the Gallery though. There’s a few pictures of our house decorated for Christmas. Jamie did great! There’s a lot more space to decorate this year… I also put up a couple older ones (Colorado Fall Colors, and Spring Snow). Jamie spent last weekend in Estes Park snow-shoeing and other fun stuff while I stayed home and did a few papers for school that were piling up.

Jamie and I spent this past weekend in Phoenix, AZ. Jamie’s dad, Jim, has spent the last two January’s in a little town called Apache Junction. It’s a quaint little cowboy town (complete with people wearing handguns at the Wal-Mart!), perfectly suited for Jim and Geraldine (his new mule). Sharon was there to keep them both company. We stayed with our good friends Lindsay and Jonathan Cavner the first two night, and we spent the last night with our good friends Phill and Autumn Miller.
