Our trip to Phoenix, AZ

A couple weekends ago Jamie and I drove down to the Phoenix area to visit some friends and her Dad in Apache Junction, AZ. We had fun seeing everyone.

This time we went sight seeing around Apache Junction; man, that place has some really nice houses! We also drove to a nice development called “Fountain Hills”. They’ve got a small lake with a water fountain. The fountain shoots up 560’ in the air. Go figure… you would think they’d conserve water a bit better. shrugs

It was incredibly cold. So cold, in fact, that Jim’s pipe froze one night and we didn’t have water in the morning. That was a bummer. Luckily things warmed up a little during the day so we had running water! Woot! The T.V. said that that weekend was the coldest it’s been there in 17 years. Wow. Last weekend Tucson got a few inches of snow. So much for global warming.

We didn’t take many pictures. We still managed to get a few keepers. We put them up on our SmugMug site.
