The first meeting
27/Jun 2007
Well, we have some big news! Jamie and I have decided to adopt a baby girl from China! We’re very excited.
Tonight, Jamie and I attended our first meeting with CCAI. The meeting was packed with information. The presenter, Joshua Zhong, is a co-founder of the agency. He’s very energetic and a great speaker. After listening and talking with him, there’s no way we could go with another agency! Besides, Jamie’s already done some checking…
A co-worker of Jamie’s adopted a child with this agency. Their experience counts for a lot in our book. I’ve been searching for anything bad about the agency and can’t find anything. That makes me feel good too.
They’ve put over 7,000 Chinese children in homes since they started. They have a really great story. Jamie and I are more than happy to support them.
This is the start of our process; the average time is 20 to 24 months until placement. I know it will be worth the wait.
